This popular safe lock is installed in many wall safes and interior compartments of many gun cabinets.
The mounting dimensions are 44.5 x 44.5 mm. Therefore, this safe lock is not interchangeable with other safe locks.
The bolt consists of three bolts. This is why the lock is also called a three-bolt lock.
Previous models of this lock still had a deadbolt. These locks have been discontinued for a long time. However, if you still have an old 1387 lock, you can replace the inner workings (i.e., the tumbler discs) of the lock and use your old lock with our new keys.
