Installation instructions for the double-bit security locks S1000
The locks are used in metal safes and are equipped with
M6 screws, strength class 8.8. The screws must only be tightened to a maximum torque of 10 Nm. A liquid threadlocker must be used to prevent the screws from loosening. The locks can be mounted with the bolt pointing to the left or up, or in the left-hand version S1000-li, with the bolt pointing to the right or up. The above illustration shows the dimensions of the lock.
There are two ways in which a boltwork can be released or operated with this lock:
-
Bolted boltwork: A boltwork is screwed to the lock bolt using M5 screws. The boltwork is activated by the lock.
-
The boltwork is not screwed on: The lock only enables the boltwork to move. This means that the boltwork is operated separately.
